Week 6

I did not meet my deliverables for this week. I wanted to create a short animation this week, but rigging took more of my time than I thought. I decided to expand my goals from a simple rig to an IK aim rig to help with my animation later on.


I am not on schedule, but I think that schedule was overly ambitious in the first place. Next week, I will adjust my milestones to better reflect my current capabilities. My new goal by the end of the quarter is to have a few short, disconnected but related character animations. No environment, no final cameras. The stretch goal will be finished models because I want some assets to show off.


The first will be the main character drawing a pistol and rapier. The second will be a guard swinging a mace. The third will be a guard turning around. All in a grey background with simple lighting. Post-production will put them in an environment with their accompanying scenes.
