Week 8

I've made zero progress on my film this week for various reasons. I don't want to make excuses; rather, I want to analyze why. By identifying these problems, I can work on them more effectively.
The first reason is that I am struggling to learn animation. This has stopped my momentum. I've encountered many frustrating technical errors. Now, I procrastinate to avoid that frustration.
The second reason is that I'm too interested in my other projects. I'm using those projects to procrastinate on this project. I'm very interested in writing, and I've been doing that for a few hours every day for fun. I've also been doing rough drafts of a comic. I need to learn to multitask more effectively.
Finally, I need to learn how to do the things I'm not motivated to do. I'm going to treat this like a job. A boss won't wait for me to be inspired or motivated. I just do the work regardless. That's how I was so productive in the first few weeks. I should remind myself that joy and inspiration will find me along the way.
